Join Young Friends of YouthBuild Philly, as well as other friends and supporters of our program, as we bowl, eat, drink and support a once in a lifetime service trip for 20 YouthBuild Philly students!
Each year, YouthBuild Philly staff organize a Spring Break trip for our students to experience a new culture and language, and share their love of service with a new part of the world. For the fifth straight year, our destination is Utuado, Puerto Rico!
On this life-changing trip, students and chaperones will work with local government on beautification and improvement projects throughout the city of Utuado, and also strengthen and build relationships with peers as they explore the island's culture and history through a shared immersive experience.
Want to help us make this trip a memorable experience? All you have to do is have fun with us! We'll be at a new venue this year - Revolutions at Penn Treaty in Fishtown - and will have more lanes, more food, more room for fun, and drink tickets included with your ticket price.
It all gets rolling on March 23 at 6 pm. Tickets are $40 in advance, and include access to our private lanes, shoe rental, several snack options, two drink tickets to be used at Revolutions' Flair bar, and a donation to support this awesome experience for YouthBuild students! To add a little competition to the mix, we'll have prizes for the top team of 4-6 bowlers. Can't make it to the event itself but still want to support? In addition to supporting a great cause, this is a great way to meet other young professionals across Philadelphia passionate about education, civic impact and social justice, as well as learn more about YouthBuild Philly's unique program. We hope to see you there!
