Join the Young Friends of YouthBuild Philly on July 18 at City Tap House University City as we raise funds to support scholarships for Class of 2018 graduates! Your $20 ticket includes food, fun, and extended happy hour pricing, as well as a donation to support the Young Friends of YouthBuild Philly Scholarship Fund!
City Tap House has long supported YouthBuild Philly fundraisers, and the Young Friends are excited to host this summer's anticipated happy hour event on the outdoor patio of this University City social landmark. You'll have a chance to mix and mingle with other young professionals, learn more about the great cause and students you're supporting, and enjoy snacks, sunshine, and reduced-priced drinks for the evening! We'll also host a 50/50 raffle with a cash prize, as well as have YouthBuild Philly swag available for sale.
YouthBuild Philadelphia is a life-changing opportunity for the 18-21 year olds who enroll each year. More than just a school, YouthBuild allows young people to earn a high school diploma, while also gaining industry-recognized certifications to prepare them for a competitive job market. After graduation, alumni are supported for a full year by mentors and incentives to help them towards successful college, career, and leadership pathways. Funds raised through this event will be used to help support college attendance for one or more YouthBuild Philly graduates, many of whom will be the first in their family to attend college.
