Join The Young Friends of YouthBuild Philadelphia to celebrate summer and raise funds for our Student Support Fund! This Wednesday is our last scheduled event with Parks on Tap, so please join us at Jefferson Square Park!

You'll have a chance to explore a unique, roving outdoor beer garden while networking with other young professionals and supporting a great cause! Tickets are $20 and get you in the door with two drink tickets and a snack generously donated by our friends at Parks on Tap.
YouthBuild Philly's Student Support Fund will provide nutritional meals and snacks, as well as need-based grants, to needy students at YouthBuild Philly. More than 75% of YouthBuild Philly enrollees come from low-income households. It can be difficult for these students to focus on their academic or vocational instruction when they have to worry about where their next meal will come from. While students are provided for by staff under dire circumstances, this funding will help us to provide more regular access to healthy meals at breakfast and lunch time, as well as snacks throughout the day.
In addition to financial contributions, we'll also be collecting canned/dry food items to help stock our pantries! While all contributions are accepted, we're most in need of high-protein items such as peanut butter, chilis and soups, as well as canned fruits and vegetables, and dry pastas and rice. Bring three or more items to receive a special gift from YouthBuild Philly, as well as entry for a drawing from a free gift from Parks on Tap. You can also support by participating in our 50/50 drawing - cash only please!
