Join the students of YouthBuild Philly for a Student Showcase of talents! While amazing things happen every day in classrooms and on worksites, our students are also amazingly talented musicians, artists, dramatists, and so much more - please spend the evening with them to learn more about these strengths during our first Student Showcase of 2019!
We welcome you to join us for this event, which will also include interaction with staff and exposure to each of YouthBuild Philly's various departments supporting our students. The second half of the night belongs to the students, as they wow you with their many talents! Our student-run cafe will be open for business from 5:30-6:30, and other light refreshments will be served throughout the night (5:30-7:30).
While no admission fee is required to attend, we ask that all guests pre-register and consider a suggested contribution of $25 to YouthBuild Philly's Student Support Fund. This fund helps to support extracurricular activities at YouthBuilld, as well as helps to pay for service projects (including our annual Spring Break service trip to Puerto Rico), postsecondary scholarships, need-based grants, and clubs and other competitions for students. This funding supports students and student-run initiatives directly, and is not supported by other public or private grants.
