ABOUT ABOUT

Leading With Empathy, Tuesday, April 13, 2021, 3 - 4:30 p.m. EST.

Empathy benefits all members of a community. It promotes trust within an organization by encouraging individuals to understand the needs of those around them. An empathetic approach can aid leaders through a range of situations, from the exchange of feedback to cultivating strong community culture.

Join us for our Leading with Empathy workshop, where YouthBuild Philly’s Director of Student Life, Zuri Stone, will take a deep dive into how the use of restorative practices encourages leaders to tap into their empathy to create a positive and productive community.

Participants will learn:

  • Define what it means to be an empathetic leader.
  • Explore leadership & supervision through a restorative lens.
  • Examine some practical tools for restorative and empathetic leadership.
  • Exchange best practices for creating a positive community/company culture.
