Please join YouthBuild Philadelphia on May 2 at The HIVE at Spring Point as we celebrate 27 years of successful student outcomes, while honoring three individuals who have made a tremendous impact on the Philadelphia community: YouthBuild Philly's own Ameen Akbar, Survivor: Ghost Island winner Wendell Holland, and the Philadelphia Eagles' Malcolm Jenkins*. Awards will be presented to each honoree for their commitments to YouthBuild Philly's core values of Excellence, Perseverance and Respect. (Note: Malcolm Jenkins will be accepting his award via pre-recorded video.)
In addition to honoring each of these men's substantial contributions to youth development across the city, we'll also celebrate our program's success with numerous sponsors, partners and guests. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar will keep all guests festive, while a silent auction, "everybody wins" raffle prize wheel, and student support opportunities will add to the fun. Student ambassadors, alumni, and past and present YouthBuild Philly staff will also join us to share in the celebration and talk reflect on their YouthBuild experience.
