ABOUT ABOUT

Join the Young Friends of YouthBuild Philly for bowling, food, and drink specials on Thursday, August 21 from 6:30-9:30pm at North Bowl (909 N. 2nd Street).  Proceeds from this evening's event will go directly to scholarships for college-bound students in YouthBuild Philly's Class of 2014.

Buy your ticket today to double its impact! If we raise $5,000 in individual giving to the Scholarship Fund this summer, a generous board member will match that amount and double the number of scholarships available.  All ticket proceeds count towards that total.

We are encouraging guests to form teams of 4-6, so bring your friends! When you buy your ticket online, let us know in the chekcout process which team you're on. There will be a special prize for the team with the highest average score at the end of the evening.

This year, we're also giving a prize to the team that raises the most money for scholarships.  Once you've registered for bowling, visit the Scholarship Fund's Crowdrise page to create a fundraising profile so that your friends and family can support your team - and, of course, our graduates!  Email [email protected] if you have questions about Crowdrise or fundraising.

**All tickets include shoe rentals, lane use, food, and drink specials**

There will be delicious, free North Bowl food for everyone (plenty of tater tots, of course!), as well as drink specials: $2 Miller High Lifes and $3 Philadelphia Brewing Company drafts.

Shout-out to event sponsor Prestige Dental! To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, email Kris White: [email protected]

About the YouthBuild Philly Class of 2014 Scholarship Fund:  On August 29, over 100 former high school dropouts will receive their diplomas after reclaiming their education this past year.  Many of them will go on to college at local postsecondary instituions in the fall, and the Scholarship Fund exists to help these students start college on the right foot by helping them with educational expenses.
